The Inputfields:

The Inputfields specify the texture you are going to install and which you are going to replace.
The upper Inputfield is for your texture you want to have ingame.
You can either enter an absolute path or select the texture by hitting the "Select File" button.
The lower Inputfield is for the texture you want to replace.
If your selected skin in the upper Inputfield is a deagle skin for example, you should replace the pist_deagle vtf here.
This Inputfield is a search field. So just enter a part of the texture you want to replace and the tool lists you up the matching textures.

The "Install” Button:

Installs the selected texture in the upper inputfield as a replacement for the texture selected in the lower inputfield.

The "Uninstall” Button:

Uninstalls the texture entered in the lower inputfield.

The "Re-Install” Button:

Re-Installs the skins that were previously installed before the pak01_dir.vpk got replaced, e.g. after an update.
Can also be used for a quicker but advanced texture installation.
Extract the textures to materials\unknwn\ instead of materials\models\ and hit "Re-Install".

The "Help” Button:

Shows this Page.
